Meet Teresa; she designed & helped build her tiny house on wheels along with a few contractors. She attended a Tumbleweed Tiny House Company workshop and then customized their design plans to build a unique 24 ft tiny house with a downstairs bedroom. She built it for financial security, greater flexibility, and to provide housing for herself & loved ones as needed. She also rented it longer term for those in transition. It’s now a part-time vacation rental at the Acony Bell Tiny Home Village. 🏡👉Rent it:
Over the last decade, Teresa has learned a lot about legal obstacles for tiny homes. She continues to advocate for acceptance in her hometown of Winston-Salem, NC. That’s where we first met her and built our own THOW. Teresa brought her then tiny house shell to an event we held downtown in 2015 to bring awareness to this practical alternative housing option.
