I pass this old house all the time while hosting “Tiny House Summer Camp”- a hands-on tiny house building and living workshop on our ten acres in northern Vermont (Sept 13-15th in 2024- sign ups below). In anycase, as this old farmhouse has racked and settled so much, the entire front door has fallen from its frame leaving the whole house wide open- so I decided to take a peek. This one is pretty darn dangerous as you’ll see and for that reason there are parts of it I don’t explore. But for the salvagers and repurposing folks out there, I feel its always fun to look through these abandoned houses to see the POTENTIAL materials one could save and harvest- and give new life to in a tiny house of cabin build.
