”Simple Frying Pan Pizza Recipe”- I’m adding this to the channel this time as I feel it fits the mindset and approach of the tiny house movement- simplicity, frugality, and ease of use. Its a meal that doesn’t require many pans or pots to cook and takes up little space. Its also a go-to meal that is incredibly easy to make, quick, and one that my kids love- its very versatile too and can be used successfully in a pinch as a substitute for Naan (Indian Food), Calzone dough, fried bread (as a dessert with powdered sugar), as empanada dough, and more. In this case, we use this bannock (or pioneer bread- almost like Navajo Bread or a version of hardtack) recipe to make a 3 ingredient pizza dough that doesn’t not require time to sit or rise. This is something I learned way back in the Boy Scouts (I was an Eagle) and that I always loved- its fun to make while camping and requires so little. We have showed people at our tiny house summer camps in VT how to make this alongside paperbag donuts- which I might have to showcase some other times- perfect for cooking on the campfire. This is a meal that can easily be cooked on an open fire too (best on a cast iron pan).
