Another tip from longtime tree house builder Derek ”Deek” Diedricksen
Here is a simple little trick or tip I use when installing both Tuftex and/or Ondura or Onduvilla roofing on tree houses, sheds, playhouses, forts, backyard offices, or even chicken coop builds- it saves time, materials, and keeps the fasteners from penetration through the plywood ceilings if you do not plan on insulating the structure or installing interior ceiling work. Its most certainly a budget approach- one you might want to work into your future builds- even with tiny houses or camp cottages.
