This little guest cabin was built to be a short term shelter (a couple of nights here and there) for volunteers at the “Song Of The Robin Animal Sanctuary” in New Lebanon NY (so that they wouldn’t have to occupy the actual bed and breakfast rooms). We basically has no funds by way of materials and used the scavenged, saved, and reused materials that this farm had on hand in order to keeps costs close to nothing. What was formerly a tiny, tiny shed for housing rescued rabbits was no longer being used and Lisa Robinsong decided to reinvent its use with THIS flip. The cabin does NOT have a bathroom, but the main house does and it’s literally 8 feet away. It DOES have air conditioning and a separate heater can be brought out when needed. What you see was done over two days- which includes painting everything, rebuilding the floor, cutting in new windows, and more. #tinyhouse #shed #sheshed #backyardoffice #cabins
