Amazing Cozy Witch Brand New Tiny House by Baluchon

This new tiny house has been named La Sorcière (meaning “The Witch”) by its owner Marion. She wanted a warm and custommade cocoon to live in.
DESCRIPTION
Here the witch does not ride a straw broom, but rather a road trailer 🙂 The small weather vane overlooking the tiny house reminds us of the name chosen by Marion for her tiny house. The house also has a large exposed frame truss under the gable roof ladder, as well as a long planter that will allow this facade to be green.

The living room includes a large convertible sofa that can be used as an extra bed if needed. Right next to it is the wood stove which will warm the atmosphere during winter evenings.

Marion had mentioned during the design phase that the kitchen was an important room and that she appreciated having the space and all the equipment necessary to concoct good meals. A long window is above the kitchen cabinet and will offer a panoramic view of the garden.

Opposite is multiple storage. A column of shelving next to the bathroom partition provides storage in wicker baskets, while the full-height wardrobe to its right will allow Marion to store clothes and shoes. The staircase is also composed of several “niches” of different sizes and shapes.

The bathroom is at the very end of the house. In this room you can see a dry toilet with stainless steel bucket and shavings compartment, but also a comfortable 100x80cm shower, as well as a cabinet with sink and wall shelves. An air extractor is also installed in this room, in addition to the double-flow VMC located in the main volume of the house.

Finally, the mezzanine bedroom has a 140x190cm bed and an additional storage unit. The tapestry-covered gable is equipped with a camouflaged LED strip at the top which will provide soft light for reading in the evening.

The Tiny House La Sorcière has been delivered to Normandy where it will become Marion’s main house.
