Asheville Cabin Overlooking Noisy Stream

Previously in an Airbnb short-term rental program with steady reservations! Some high-end Old Hickory furnishings are negotiable.

Blending nicely with her surroundings, she sits on a knoll, surrounded by 1.4 private, gated & partially fenced acres. Just across the road is loud Flat Creek that you can hear all year round even with the windows closed. The French Broad River is a few minute’s walk away where you can paddle to your heart’s content!

Some amenities include a great room with a cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace, a large kitchen with new, never used 5-burner gas range with electric oven, and a large capacity washer and dryer. The enormous luxury bath has pebble-stone flooring, hammered-copper sink, multi-head shower, and Kohler toilet. Just outside, there’s a large deck that can accommodate at 6 – 8 people comfortably and a 6-person spa.

Lots of upgrades include all-new underfloor structural supports, new insulation, new air-handler, new gas lines to kitchen, new disposal, new gas range, new washer & dryer.

The interior is truly unique and instantly comfortable. Pretty pegged-pine floors flow throughout the main floor. The great room is wide open with a cathedral ceiling and large windows to hear the stream. A gas log fireplace takes the chill off in colder months. Ponderosa Pine chandeliers and sconces both inside and out blend beautifully with the cabin design. The main level master bedroom easily accommodates a king-sized bed. There’s a guest bedroom upstairs and comfy loft den or reading room.

Located less than 5 minutes from Weaverville and Publix and SuperWalmart and of course Blue Mountain Pizza, and only 12 minutes from downtown Asheville with way too many fabulous restaurants to mention!
