Little Haven is an official 28-acre wildlife preserve and family farm 6 miles north of Wimberley. We manage the land for song birds, owls and other raptors, and turkey. We have horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and a tortoise. There are three miles of trails for hiking and exploring. The sunsets are amazing, and star gazing is some of the best in Texas (Wimberley is one of only three certified “Dark Sky” cities in Texas). This is the place if you want total quiet, privacy, and dark skies.

“Little Green” is a 500-square foot Hill-Country Modern cabin tucked into the woods with total privacy. The cabin has a covered patio for relaxing outside in the shade. The cabin has a master bedroom, living room, full kitchen, full bathroom, and a sleep loft that sleeps three people (one twin bed, one full-size bed). The master bedroom has a king-size bed, closet, and 40″ smart TV. The cabin is decorated with an eclectic curated collection of vintage and new items gathered by Lora and Clark on their travels through Texas and beyond.
The sleep loft has one twin bed and a full-size bed to comfortably sleep three people.
A propane grill is provided, along with basic grilling tools. We provide firewood for the fire pit as well.
This is truly a rural location and a place to disconnect. We do NOT have WiFi, but most mobile networks have decent signals for hot spots and phones if you must connect.
