About this space
This home is in the heart of the historic district and was just renovated by an interior designer. Although an historic home, it is fully modern and updated with new fixtures and appliances. 5 blocks to restaurants, shopping and parks.
The space
We bought this house a couple of years ago and have just finished restoring it in July of 2015. Originally built in 1889, this was originally the kitchen to a larger historic home next door. The oldest part of the home was just two rooms; the kitchen and the servants quarters. But it was added onto by 1914 and it maintains that original footprint today.
There is one bedroom with a king bed, closet storage and a window seat. There is a queen room with its own storage, and a window seat also. The bathroom has marble floor and countertops and all new plumbing and fixtures. The hot water heater is tankless, so you don’t have to worry about ever running out!
The kitchen has a refrigerator with a freezer, a dishwasher, garbage disposal, full size oven and a four burner electric cooktop. It is fully outfitted with cookware, utensils and plenty of plates and glasses. There is also a drip coffee maker, food processor and a toaster
The living room has a comfortable sofa and several upholstered chairs. The 32″ Samsung HDTV comes with cable and TiVo DVR. There is also a private WiFi network for the house and a Bose Radio with a headphone jack to connect to your smartphone or other music device.
The rear porch has a table seating for 4-6 and a gas grill. There is dedicated off street parking for two cars.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home.
