In this video we take a peek of “The Box Truck Film” star- the tiny house truck itself. We’ll have a full tour soon, but you can see even more in the full length film that is now out on Amazon. In this particular clip we talk to Alex Eaves (of Stay Vocal Apparel/Clothing) and get his take on the “Top six reuse elements or hacks in his tiny house on wheels” while parked at Husson University in Maine. The Box Truck Tiny House was almost entirely built with free, found, secondhand, reused, and even dumpster dived materials- just to see if it could be done (that was part of the film’s journey). What you see here is the final product of a “close-to-total-reuse” home. The box truck was built and designed by Derek “Deek” Diedricksen and Alex Eaves and tours around as a mobile reuse educational center where the duo offer tours of the home, give talks to classes/auditorium groups, and screen their film for students (links below if you’d ever want to book us) #tinyhouse #tinyhouseonwheels #conversionvan #cottages
