While building a tree house for a photo shoot that’ll show up in my next tiny shelters and houses book, my family stayed in this super cool airbnb rental in NY- one that was Danish modern in flair, and situated on a gorgeous and isolated piece of land in the Catskills region. This small home (or “tiny” to some) features two bedrooms, and open floor plan (kitchen and living room combo) and actually has a decent amount of built in storage- not to mention a ton of outdoor living space as you’ll see. It was a great stay and one that might spawn (this video) some design and layout ideas for YOUR home if you’re planning on building something on the smaller side.
